Process version history

Your business evolves, and so do your processes. Way provides a mechanism to keep track of these process versions. Look in the sidebar of your process for the version list:

Creating versions

New processes won’t be versioned yet. After making changes to your process, you will be able to “commit” your changes to a new version:

You have the option to either create a major version (1.0, 2.0 etc.) or a minor version (1.1, 1.2 etc.). Major versions are for major changes, such as adding new nodes to your process. Minor versions are for smaller changes, such as adding a more detailed description or fixing a typo.

The first version number of a process is always 1.0, regardless of whether you choose to create a major or minor version.

Archiving versions

When you create a new vresion, Way will archive all previous versions. The newest version then becomes the active version. To archive the latest version manually, click the archive button.
