Processes
How to map your business processes
Creating a process
To create a new process, navigate to the Processes section and click .
Adding nodes
Once created, you will be greeted by an initial “node”. Each node represents an action, decision, or endpoint within your workflow.

Create additional nodes by using the arrow buttons, or create them manually by clicking . If you add a node using this last method, make sure to connect the nodes by drawing an arrow between one of the four black knobs in the middle of each side of a node:
Tip!
You can create loops in your processes by connecting nodes in a loop:
If desired, you can resize nodes by dragging one of the four knobs in a corner of the node:
Files, links and remarks
You can easily add hyperlinks, upload documents and add comments to your process, and even to single steps. Look for the “files”, “links” and “remarks” sections in the flyout.
Cleaning up
As opposed to competitive tools, Way allows you to reposition nodes freely on the canvas to improve clarity and let creativity flow.
However, if you need a more structured layout, use the AutoLayout button in the bottom toolbar to arrange nodes automatically. To document specific steps, you can add descriptions, assign responsibilities, and attach notes or warnings. The tagging system helps categorize processes for quick retrieval.
Documentation quality
A unique feature of Way is the ability to get feedback on the quality of your process. Select a node and click to get suggestions for improvement:
