Track process execution

Many organisations assume that once a process is designed, employees will follow it consistently. But reality is messier. People take shortcuts, unexpected delays occur, and real-world execution often looks different from the original plan. In order to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance, Way offers a way to track process execution and make sure that processes are run as expected.

After designing a process, you can track its execution using Runs. Click to begin logging a process execution. Users responsible for process steps can mark them as complete by clicking the corresponding step in the run view. If your organization uses external software to automate processes, you can integrate it using the API or one of the available integrations.

Way tracks execution times for each step and calculates the average throughput time. This helps identify bottlenecks by showing which steps take longer than expected. The system also calculates the total execution time and provides a relative standard deviation, offering insight into process consistency. Reviewing these statistics enables you to refine and optimize workflows.
